Upgrade to Patch 6.0.3 and prepare for the launch of Warlords of Draenor
November 13 is only half a month ahead. You maybe can not wait, but Blizzard is doing the transition smoothly. Since Patch 6.0.2, players have seen some of the changes and on Oct.29, we are seeing another update, Patch 6.0.3, bringing the game in line with the version of Warlords of Draenor that’s being tested on the beta realms. Meanwhile, fixes for issues that cropped up in the initial transition to 6.0 are also included.
According to Bashiok, wow community manager, what they are going to do is “to release a patch tomorrow that will bring the live game up-to-date with the version currently being tested on the beta realms” and “this includes a number of fixes and changes to address issues we've identified since the release of 6.0.2, as well as remaining assets and content to prepare for the launch of Warlords of Draenor”.
As to the patch details and size, there is no information so far. But this plan “is to not require a launch-day patch, and have a smooth transition to the new expansion in North America at midnight Pacific on November 13”. So you can imagine it is far more than average bug fix.
Oh don’t forget to get your precious heirlooms and other disappearing items in time. One can never be too prepared when it comes to Warlords of Draenor. Come on, guys!
