What’s your thought on Facebook integration for Blizzard games?
A few hours ago, Blizzard Entertainment announced that it is working with Facebook to implement Facebook's Live API into its current
slate of games. Later this month, players will be able to use their Facebook Login to access Blizzard games on PC, including Overwatch,
Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo 3, and StarCraft 2.
So by that time, you'll be able to sign up and log into Blizzard's games using Facebook, and able to stream directly to your timeline, where
your friends will receive notifications about when you're streaming. It will allow Blizzard to take advantage of Facebook's social platform for
sharing, viewing and discussing game content. (View original press)
One player said that’s not a good one as he doesn’t want his whole theoretical social and family group knowing he loves playing MMOs at
obscene hours. Another one said he’s not using facebook for a long time and doesn’t want any fb integration. Some even think that’s retarded.
Yet there are still players in favor of it.
What’s your thought on this one? Hmmmm, share your thoughts with us on our facebook?
