WoW - Free to play until September 26 for new players

If you have never played World of Warcraft before, now is the time to start playing, as Blizzard is sporting an interesting splash page that invites new World of Warcraft players to take on the game for free from now through September 26. To set everything up, you can follow the steps here.

Why Blizzard has started this campaign is unknown, however it probably has to do with the fact that the total amount of World of Warcraft subscribers is at an all time low. This could be a fruitful way of revitalizing the game by introducing new players before the new expansion Warlords of Draenor comes out. And also some players guess it’s because of the pressure from ArcheAge. Anyway, WoW finally goes free to play. That’s the good point.

And the free time it's referring to is the 30-day month that all new subscribers get.
